How it works

  • Dicyclomine (or Dicycloverine) is an anticholinergic drug that reduces muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract through a process of nonselective smooth muscle relaxation

  • It inhibits the parasympathetic nerve impulses by selectively blocking the binding of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine to its receptor in nerve cells.
  • Simethicone is an anti-foaming agent that acts by reducing gas from the gastrointestinal tract (GIT)
