Uses Of Bandy-Plus Suspension

It is used for the treatment of parasitic infections in the intestine and skin caused by tapeworms, pinworms, hookworms, etc

How it works

  • Albendazole inhibit the synthesis of microtubule by binding to beta tubulin of parasite
  • These microtubules are essential for several metabolic processes in the parasite
  • Albendazole also inhibit glucose uptake in the parasite thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die
  • Ivermectin acts on the outer membrane of the parasite, causing paralysis and death of the parasite.
