Urinary Antiseptics

Urinary antiseptics are drugs that are excreted mainly by way of the urine and perform their antiseptic action in the urinary bladder and the urinary tract. These drugs maybe given before examination of or operation on the urinary tract, and they are sometimes used to treat urinary tract infections. These are capable of preventing infection by inhibiting the growth of infectious agents.
